When working a job on tilr, you will need to follow the check-in and check-out procedure. Missing check-ins or check-outs could delay your payment, so you should check in and out of a job on the tilr app as soon as you begin and end each of your shifts.

Where to find your shift information
After accepting a job, the job will show up in the Upcoming tab on the Jobs page of the tilr app. If you click your upcoming job, you can view the description in the Summary section, the dates and shift times in the Dates & Times section, and the facility location in the Location section.

The dates and times listed in Dates & Times will determine when you’ll be able to make your first check in. On the first day of your job, the job will move to the Current tab on the Jobs page. Once your shift begins, you can now click on the job to see a ‘Check In’ button at the bottom of the screen.

Be sure to check in only once you’ve begun working. Checking in too early can cause your times to go under review and risk a delay in payment for that shift.

Checking out
The ‘Check In’ button on the job page will then be replaced with a ‘Check Out’ button. Once you have finished work for the day, you can click this ‘Check Out’ button. You will see a summary of your hours worked and what you earned for the day. You will also be able to rate your experience at this job. This will help us serve you better opportunities in the future or resolve any issues you have.

Check-ins and check-outs will also be closely monitored by the tilr team to make sure that you are paid properly. If we notice any issues or missing times, we will get in touch with you to resolve these issues.

Reminder email
tilr will also send you an email on Saturday or Sunday when you are working an opportunity. The purpose of this email is to give you a preview of the amount of hours that you can expect to be paid for. The email will contain a summary of the hours you recorded for the previous week. The hours listed in this email come directly from your check-ins and check-outs.
